#blogtourportofino: let’s go!

Enthusiasm is sky high and I must confess that the backpack has already been ready for some days. :-)

There’s not very long until tomorrow morning when I’ll be taking the train to Santa Margherita Ligure. That’s where my #blogtourportofino will start, with other travel bloggers, my faithful travel companions for the next two days.

The responsibility is big: rediscovering my homeland through new eyes will not be an easy task.

The programme at the Portofino Natural Regional Park is stimulating, a perfect mix between the outdoors, authentic tastes and artistic masterpieces in an eco-sustainable setting.

The part dedicated to satisfying more demanding palates like mine will be taken care of by the Mulino del Gassetta, the last windmill of the “Valle dei Mulini”, and the restaurant “La Cambusa”, a terrace facing the splendid marina of Santa Margherita Ligure.

I think this will be one of the few times in which I don’t know what to take in first… the Pansoti stuffed pasta in nut sauce or the splendid view surrounding me.

The Molini holiday farm, in the heart of the Promontory, surrounded by centuries-old olive groves and facing the bay of San Fruttuoso di Camogli will be a place of relax and replenishing sleep. I’m sure I’ll sleep like a baby.
